The Whitby PAM project involves building addition and alteration / facility expansion to Parks Administration & Maintenance Facility located in Town of Whitby.
The scope includes the construction of a one-storey building expansion to an existing two-storey municipal operations centre, renovation within the existing operations centre and demolition of an existing one-storey building and associated interior passageway with renovations to the existing one-storey municipal Parks department depot building and site improvements.
The new addition will include Workshop Spaces with dedicated areas for parks maintenance, forestry, horticulture, turf, and grounds maintenance; Office Areas with open workspaces, hoteling stations, small meeting spaces, a quiet room, and centralized foreperson offices; and Staff Support Zones with mudrooms at shop entrances and direct connectivity to existing operational amenities (washrooms, change rooms, and lunchrooms).
