The TTC Wilson Bus Garage is replacing its bus garage hoists to support ongoing maintenance operations and ensure long-term service. The new in-ground, cylinder post-type hoists—housed in cassettes—along with all associated components, will replace the existing standard two-post hoists. Localized state-of-good-repair work will also be completed.
The project scope includes the safe removal and disposal of nine hoists, while two others will be carefully salvaged and delivered to the TTC Hillcrest Yard complex. The work also involves structural, mechanical, and electrical modifications to accommodate the new hoist systems.
