This project entailed the construction of a six-storey, ninety-seven-unit affordable housing building. The building included a non-residential ground floor and a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom rental apartments. The development also featured an indoor amenity space, a rooftop patio area, and surface parking. Owned and operated by York Region’s housing corporation, Housing York Inc., the project was designed to be environmentally sustainable and achieved LEED Gold certification for improved energy and resource efficiency.
