Interior renovation of 2,000 sf within an operating hospital to create a clinical Chest Centre and office space. The project was phased to accommodate the ongoing operations of the hospital.
The project included the creation of an isolation room with an ante room, separate exhaust system and unique mechanical and electrical requirements. Extensive asbestos abatement was required during construction.
The Chest Centre is in the central part of the hospital building. Concerted effort was required to coordinate with hospital staff regarding material delivery and debris removal.
