Box Grove Community Housing

The Box Grove Community Housing Development involves the construction of a new purpose-built rental building at 15 Vettese Court in Markham. The building will have four- and six-storey sections containing 153 residential units.The development will offer a mix of affordable and market-rent housing options. It will also include underground and surface parking, outdoor amenity space, landscaping, pedestrian connections and associated site improvements.The 2.4-acre site is located near the southwest corner of 14th Avenue and Donald Cousens Parkway. The surrounding community provides convenient access to schools, shopping, York Region Transit, the Box Grove Community Centre and Rouge National Urban Park. The development will be owned by The Regional Municipality of York and operated through Housing York Inc.
