Maystar COR recertified for 2021
Maystar General Contractors Inc. is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed our Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) external Certificate of Recognition (COR) audit on April 14, 2021.
The COR program is a thorough review of a company’s health and safety management systems which is integral to ensure it meets health and safety standards for its employees.
Maystar General Contractors has been COR certified since May 2018 and we are proud to continue to hold our certification. With the hard work and dedication of our employees, both in office and on site, we have kept up to date with COR standards and enforced our health and safety policies with an audit score of 92%.
Throughout the three-day audit, the IHSA auditor visited Maystar projects at Sunnybrook Hospital Brain Sciences, V!VA Leaside and TTC College to ensure compliance within all our safety policies and procedures. The auditor conducted interviews with management and workers, reviewed documentation, and observed company practice and techniques.
This accomplishment is further evidence of our company’s rigorous commitment to health and safety as a fundamental part of our business standards, and displays our success in operations.
