MAYS – Affordable Housing Building Coming Soon
Maystar Construction is excited to be a part of a life-changing project coming to Whitchurch-Stouffville.
With housing prices increasing in Stouffville, affordable housing has been an ongoing issue. Earlier in the month, the Federal, Provincial, Regional, and Municipal governments started the Housing York Project at 5676 Main St. just east of Metro.
This is a 6-storey building offering a mix of 97 affordable units, including 65 one-bedroom, 26 two-bedroom and 6 three-bedroom options.
The development is said to be completed by 2024 with a Phase 2 in discussion as well.
